OBJECTIVES : To fill in a challenging Operations Senior Management position within a dynamic organization to contribute to its growth and broaden my experience and progress.
- Took over the Management and responsibilities of the Company with a team of 20 persons in 4 departments: Outdoor Furniture, Indoor Furniture, Home Appliances and Shipping. 60 Mio USD turnover in 2007.
In charge of sourcing, buying and selling to all Plicosa group agents (France, Benelux, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Brazil?).
- Objectives: To develop the turnover and profits and on new products range for the future.
Keep on profit under the actual pressure from the markets. Need to find strategic solutions for team, process and organization in order to keep the company on the most competitive position for the future.
- Major Achievements: Increase the Turnover by 15% up to date, keep on profits even with the market high pressure since January 2008.
Reorganized one department and develop the QA, QC process and internal organization.
2007 - 2007- Develop and sell Camping and Outdoor range to our customers in France ? Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Chain Stores and Wholesalers. In charge of the P&L of the department for 15 Mio Euros.
- Develop and restructure the Camping and Outdoors activities with our office in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Develop the turnover by 8% and penetration on new markets by opening 4 main new customers. This position was a temporary position in order to get involved in all the aspect of our Mother Company.
2001 - 2007In charge of the South East Regional Representative Office of the Mousquetaires Group. Responsible of the transfer from Comi Vietnam activities to A.R.E.N.A Vietnam.
Managing a team of 12 persons, responsible for $15 Mio USD buying business (including Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia).
- Objectives: Establish and implement Allies buying strategies. Route to turnover growth and people development.
Driving continuous sourcing and quality processes improvements and achieving cost effectiveness while striving for a better service to existing and new Allies of A.R.E.N.A, with the support of all the team who were directly reporting. Full P&L responsibility.
Products: Outdoor Wood Furniture, Indoor Furniture, Ceramic Pots, Gloves, Garments and Green Coffee.
- Major Achievements: Average growth of +25% and solid road map for the Allies activities in the Area. Build up a solid and efficient QA and QC process and team, decreasing claims by more than 70%, and the Cost of Quality by 15% with a wider coverage of the manufacturers.
Head Buyer of Buying Departements, Mousquetaire Group : Intermarche & Bricomarche Major Independent Retailers in Europe
1998 - 20022000 - 2002 Head Buyer of the Toys and Christmas decoration department.
Lead the buyer team and turnover on this department, responsible of the P&L.
Development of direct sourcing and buying in Asia. Analysis of the competitors, capture Market shares and fidelity of our retailers. Managed a team of 2 buyers and 2 administrative.
1999 - 2000 Head Buyer of the Home Electrical Appliances & Telephone products.
Managed the product range, selection, negotiation and turnover and P&L. Development of partnership with Chinese suppliers (models and range). Route to profit for the department with 1 year. Turnover raise of 65% - Managed a team of 1 buyer and 1 administrative.
1998 - 1999 Senior Buyer - Do It Your Self and Garden Range.
Managed the products ranges proposal for permanent and promotion. Selection, negotiation. Team Leader on European Negotiation in our International Buying located in Zurich (Switzerland) on the Battery and Bubbles files ? Increase the direct contribution by 25% - Managed 2 administrative.
1997 - 1998 Junior Buyer - House and Kitchen Ware Ranges.
1996 - 1997Range Manager in Households and Department Manager for Dry Products ? Managed a Team of 4.
1995-1996 Continent Chambourcy ? France: Range Manager in Fresh and dairy products.
